The NANO32 ESP32 IoT Development Board is the product by the designers of Arduino Nano and Espresso Lite (Thailand-based Gravitech and MakerAsia respectively) is the first third-party development board that provides another alternative to the eager-beavers community of geeks, makers, hackers and developers interested in the latest Wi-Fi/BT combo ‘wonder’ chip.
This NANO32 ESP32 IoT Development Board is the big brother of the ESP8266 development board. Nano32 is collaboration work by Makerasia and Gravitech from Thailand. It is base on ESP32 SoC. ESP32 the flagship product from Espressif (the company that design and produce ESP8266), but now with Xsensa Dual-Core 32-bit processors that case provides 600DMPIS. Let’s look at the features and Specification of this board.
The ESP32 is the latest chipset to be released by Shanghai-based, Espressif Systems that combines both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (BT) capabilities within its dual CPU core and a rich accompaniment of hardware peripherals.
Designed as an ultra-low power chip using TSMC 40nm technology, it employs a customized CPU design based on the Cadence® Tensilica® Xtensa® Dual-Core 32-bit LX6 600 DMIPS.
Ra-02 is based on sx1278 wireless transparent transmission module (transceiver one), socket it can connect external antenna. Using advanced LoRa spread spectrum technology, communication distance is10000 meters, super error correction, anti-interference ability, with the air wake-up function (ultra-low power consumption). It can be used in the environment with thousands of people, especially for meter reading, smart home, burglar alarm and other equipment. Lora spread spectrum modulation technology 20dbm-100mw constant rf power output when voltage changes high sensitivity: Low to -148dbm half-duplex SPI communication programmable bit rates up to 300kbps supports FSK, GFSK, MSK, GMSK, LoRa and OOK modulation modes 127db RSSI dynamic range automatic rf signal detection, cad mode and ultra-high-speed AFC with CRC, up to 256 bytes of packet engine small volume dual-row stamp-hole patch package with shielding shell spring antenna (ra-01) external antenna (ra-02).
The SX1276/77/78/79 transceivers feature the LoRa long range modem that provides ultra-long range spread spectrum communication and high interference immunity whilst minimizing current consumption. As the SX127x chips needs a few additional components for operation, the Ra-02 module developed by A.I. Thinker includes an SX1278 and everything needed for it to work in a small form factor PCB. This breakout board facilitates developing/prototyping with the Ra-02 module tremendously. Solder the pins, plug it into a microcontroller/SoC using dupont wires or a solderless breadboard, and use it to create LoRa projects! Features: Wireless Standard: 433MHz Frequency range: 420~450MHz 20dBm@10mW. Stable RF output power when input voltage changed Half-duplex SPI communication Programmable bit rate can reach to 300kbps 127dB RSSI wave range Radio: Semtech SX1278 Antenna connector: IPX (U.FL) Operating Voltage: 1.8~3.7VDC, default 3.3V Working Current: Rx <10.8mA (Lna Boost closed, Band 1) Tx <120mA ( 20dBm); sleep mode: 0.2uA
